League One promotion winners Leeds United face Reading in the Championship play-off final on Friday with the Yorkshire side hoping to join the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City in the top flight.
Owner Massimo Cellino plans to show what “Leeds United 2.0” will look like next season with another trophy having been crowned champions of League One with a 4-1 aggregate semi-final victory over Bradford.
The former Italy midfielder plans to make some more changes to the Leeds management staff to get the club into the Premier League.
“I need to sort a few things out. I hope to keep Ross [Smith] as a director. I want someone for the press box [announcer John Buckley]. There are some things I need to know,” Cellino told BBC Sport.
“I don’t see anyone who’s the right person to do that so I may find someone from England and that person will come and take over from John.
“Hopefully we will get through to the [Championship] play-offs and play against Nottingham Forest on a Friday and get our manager back for Saturday.
“Then we have a full week and hopefully get a deal [with the likes of Villa and Sunderland]. It’s my target for us to go straight back up and with some money in the bank.”
